THE TRAINING PROGRAM FOR THE CABLEWAY MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

The purpose of this program – to give certified training, according to the technology set by the manufacturer used to supervise passenger cableway paths applying safe methods, in order to ensure that the cableways are used safely and ensure the safety and health of the passengers who use them.
With relation to rising popularity of tourism, organization of enterntainment and recreation business, new buildings of enterntainment purpose are built, among those the mountain skiing tracks are included, where the ski lifts are installed, this is why the need for employees able to professionally maintain cableways and transport passengers is noticed.
This program is made to train cableway maintenance supervisors who would be able to independently check if the cables are in good condition to use, turn them on/off and supervise them while working, to manage and lead the workers working with cableways.
The purpose of the training program – is to give the trainees who work as cableway maintenance supervisors the necessary general and special technical knowledge, needed to use cableways and repair them, to ensure health and safety of employees and visitors.
The training program consists of theoretical training and independent work task. The theoretical training is carried out in the training institution where media and technical training tools are provided for training of cableways operator. The practical training is carried out in companies that use cableways and can provide the conditions for the trainees to be introduced to the devices used and their working principles.
The duration of training is 2 weeks (80 hours). After learning the material of theoretical training course and completing the practical training assignments, the persons in training must take the final exam, which covers the questions of theoretical and practical parts of training. To check the knowledge, a test or exam is prepared, which can consist of exam tickets with questions, concluded from the topics of this training program.
To the persons, who successfully pass the exam, the certificate (code 3106) granting the right to work as cableways maintenance supervisor is issued.
