THE TRAINING PROGRAM FOR COMBUSTIBLE GAS SYSTEM OPERATION SUPERVISOR
Patalpinta: 2016-06-07 08:26:45
The training program for combustible gas system operation supervisor is designed to train those employees, who perform exploitation of natural and liquefied petroleum gas systems and manage exploiting works. The purpose of this training program – to prepare certified employees, who are able to safely and effectively exploit natural and liquefied petroleum gas systems and their devices, manage gas systems exploitation works and dangerous works with gas.
The persons who can be trained by this program must be no younger than 18 years old, having not lower than higher education in engineering and higher diploma in professional field of engineering, or higher education in technology sciences field from a college.
The program is divided into three training parts: one general and two special parts.
./ The M1 training part ‘General technical and safety requirements’ is meant to give general knowledge to the trainees about combustible gas, materials used for gas piping, devices and equipment of gas systems, measuring tools, gas piping protection from corrosion, pressure devices, employees’ safety and health, workplace hygiene, fire safety requirements, implementation of dangerous works with gas, accidents and emergency works, system testing, as well as the basics of labor law. The program of this training part is compulsory for the trainees who are trained according to the special parts of training program. Those persons, who have listened to and learned the M1 part program and passed the intermediate test, can continue the training upon the corresponding special part of training program, with relation to the type of exploiting works of gas systems (natural or liquefied petroleum gas) the person is going to manage. The theoretical training of this part of training gets 46 academic hours.
During the practical training in the training institution, the trainees get to know the gas piping connections (joints), sealing materials, learn to recognize the piping devices by tightening marking signs, are familiarized with gas systems of buildings, measuring tools and the ways to use them, the order of working pressure devices testing and check, are introduced to the order of implementation of dangerous works with gas, learn to complete work documentation.
During the practical training the trainees learn to use personal protective equipment and initial safety measures. The practical training in a training institution is given 12 academic hours.
Upon the completion of the practical training in a training institution, the trainees are given 10 academic hours of manufacturing practice, during which the trainees can deepen their knowledge gained in the theoretical training part.
The training of this part is given 68 academic hours.
Upon the completion of the general training part of M1, the knowledge is checked by an intermediate test. Those persons, who have listened to and learned the general training part of M1, and have successfully passed the intermediate test for knowledge check, can continue the training according to any of the programs of the special training parts.
If the general M1 training part is completed, an authorization to work independently is not given.
The M2 training part ‘Exploitation of natural gas systems’ is for those persons, who are getting ready to manage the exploitation works of natural gas systems. By this training part, the persons in training receive knowledge about natural gas distribution system, the systems for gas consumers, gas pressure reduction, technical maintenance for gas systems, reconstruction and repair works, pressure research, geographical information system, the order of connecting new consumer systems to the natural gas systems. The theoretical training of this training part is given 40 academic hours.
During the practical training in the training institution, the trainees get to know gas pressure control devices, their working principles and exploitation, technical maintenance of distributive gas piping and repair works, gas systems of buildings and the exploitation of gas combustion devices and the works of their technical testing, launching and coordination, the order of implementation of dangerous works with gas in a natural gas system. The practical training in a training institution is given 13 academic hours.
Upon the completion of the practical training in a training institution, the trainees are given 16 academic hours of manufacturing practice, during which the trainees can deepen the knowledge gained in the theoretical training part.
After the manufacturing practice the practical task is completed, which gets 24 academic hours. If, due to justified reasons, a trainee is not able to complete the practical task by the deadline stated in the training program, the deadline can be extended, but no longer than two weeks starting from the day when the task is given.
The time planned for learning the knowledge of the M2 training part is 93 academic hours.
To the persons, who have listened to and learned the general M1 part of this program and this special part of M2, and completed the practical task, as well as passed the final exam, a certificate of the required form is issued (code 1114) together with the attestation certificate with the text: ‘able to manage the exploitation works of natural gas systems and perform dangerous works with gas’.
The M3 part of training ‘Exploitation of liquefied petroleum gas systems’ is designed for those persons, who are getting ready to manage the exploitation works of liquefied petroleum gas systems. The trainees studying in this training program receive knowledge about liquefied petroleum gas extraction, areas of use, piping, group devices, forced evaporation of the liquid phase (redistribution processes), pressure reduction devices, storage of gas cylinders, their transportation, exploitation of gas devices, dangerous works with gas. The theoretical part of this training part is given 33 academic hours.During the practical training in the training institution, the trainees are introduces to liquefied petroleum gas group and individual cylinder devices, liquefied petroleum gas supply to dwelling houses, technical testing of liquefied petroleum gas devices and repair works, the order of implementation of dangerous works with liquefied petroleum gas. The practical training in a training institution is given 9 academic hours.
After the practical training in a training institution is completed, the trainees get 10 academic hours of manufacturing practice, during which the trainees can deepen the knowledge gained in the theoretical training part.
After the manufacturing practice the practical ask is completed, which is given 24 academic hours. If, due to justified reasons, a trainee can not complete the practical task by the deadline planned for this training program, the deadline can be extended, but no longer than up to two weeks from the day the task is given.
To learn the knowledge of the M3 training part 76 academic hours are given.
To the persons, who have listened to and learned the general M1 part of this training program and this special training part of M3, also completed the practical task and passed the final exam, the certificate of the required form is issued (code 3106) and the attestation certificate with the text: ‘able to manage the exploitation works of liquefied petroleum gas systems and perform dangerous works with gas’.
To the persons, who have listened to and learned the whole training program, completed all practical tasks of the special training parts and passed the final exam, the certificate of the required form (code 3106) is issued and the attestation certificate with the text: ‘able to manage the exploitation works of combustible gas systems and perform dangerous works with gas’.
