This training program consists of 3 parts: M1; M2; M3.
The M1 part – covers the general technical and safety requirements;
The M2 part – covers the hanger and stacked platform devices controlled from a platform (cradle), driven by machine gear.
The M3 part – covers mobile lifting platforms. Once the M1 and M2 training parts that take 42 hours are completed, and the specialist knowledge testing is passed, the right to control the hanger and stacked platform devices controlled from a platform (cradle) that are driven by machine gear. If the M1 and M3 parts of training are completed, that take 32 hours, and a specialist knowledge testing examination is passed, the right to control mobile lifting platforms is given. Once the whole training program is completed, which means that the M1, M2 and M3 parts are complete (that takes 64 hours), and the exam has been passed, persons get the right to control all types of lifting platforms and their equipment. If only the M1 training part is completed, the right of controlling the device is not given.
The theoretical training is organized at the training institution, and the practical training takes place at the practical training location (as indicated in the issued training license) at a company or training institution, while the training is given about the establishment (installation) and control of a chosen device of a particular part of training program. When the practical training is carried out at a company upon the practical training contract, the training institution has to submit a training plan and ensure that relevant conditions for gaining lifting platforms skills are provided, together with assigning a practical training mentor (instructor) and practical training supervisor. These persons must fulfil the requirements stated in the training program.
The training results are assessed by an exam, which covers the theoretical knowledge testing and an evaluation of practical skills. The theoretical knowledge is tested by a test, the questions of which are concluded from the learning achievements stated in the final assessment part. The practical skills are assessed by evaluating the skills of safe establishment (installation) and control of a lifting platform. When this training program is completed, a certificate is issued (3106).
